Two industry leaders are joining forces to redefine research, development, and education in modern dentistry.
The Ivoclar Group and the MALO CLINIC are joining forces with a goal of creating comprehensive solutions that will combine science and treatment expertise to enhance patient care and modern dentistry.

Ivocalr is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of integrated solutions for high-quality dental applications with an extensive product and systems portfolio for dentists, dental technicians and preventive care teams. The renowned MALO CLINIC is recognized for its science-based treatment concepts and as the pioneer of the All-on-4 technique. The 2 leading dental industry names have established a comprehensive strategic partnership for innovative dentral treatment concepts.
The partnership will redefine research, development and education in modern dentistry, and is designed to create comprehensive solutions for more efficient, esthetic and patient-centred dental care by combining scientific excellence with practical treatment expertise.
New Momentum
The intensive cooperation marks the next step in the already established collaborative relationship between the 2 companies and combines 2 core strengths: the long-standing experience in the development of innovative dental materials and systematic workflows of Ivoclar with the clinical and scientific expertise of MALO CLINIC, a global pioneer in dentistry with leading research and training centers.
“The cooperation with MALO CLINIC brings together product development, research and training from the outset–with the goal of creating innovative and practical solutions that sustainably improve everyday clinical practice for our customers,” explained Markus Heinz, CEO at Ivoclar, in today’s press release.
Innovative Implant Restoration Workflows
The new partnership encompasses joint research and development projects, clinical studies as well as the development and implementation of collaborative training and education programs. Existing programs will be expanded and enhanced with new concepts focused on All-on-4 and thus implant-supported restorations. Initial joint studies on durable esthetic implant solutions using Ivoclar’s IPS e.max zirconium oxide are already in the planning stages, the companies stated.
Pedro Alvarez, CEO at MALO CLINIC, added: “We are honored to enter into this strategic partnership with Ivoclar. Together, we share the commitment to translating scientifically based innovations into daily practice. Our close collaboration in research and education will set new standards for quality and patient care.”
Both partners are united by a shared purpose–“Making People Smile” at Ivoclar, and “From Science to Smiles” at MALO CLINIC. The collaboration is based on the view that the best results emerge from combining scientific excellence, practice-oriented product development and a deep understanding of the needs of practitioners and, most importantly, patients. This alliance is designed to create a powerful network of clinical expertise and technical innovation–for a new generation of dental solutions.
The Ivoclar Group is headquartered in Schaan, Liechtenstein, and MALO CLINIC is a worldwide reference in dental medicine with a renowned multidisciplinary team, internationally recognized and composed of highly qualified dental professionals with 3 decades of experience in research and clinical practice.
